The easiest way to determine a S&B belt size is to add 2-3 inches to a men's pant size. If the recipient wears multiple pant sizes, use the largest size to calculate the correct belt size. This formula works best with chino style pants. If in between sizes, round up to the next size. Using denim sizing is not recommended.
Some individuals may need to go up an additional belt size.

Smathers & Branson belts are 2 inches larger than your pants waist size. For example, someone whose pants have a 36 inch waist wears a 38 inch belt. When the waist is an odd size, increase the belt size by 3 inches (e.g., a size 33 pant wears a size 36 belt). If you have any doubt, pleaseopt for a larger size.
